After many years of dedicated service to the Arlington community, we share the bittersweet news that Dr. Edwin Murr is retiring from his beloved role at Arlington Vision Source.
Dr. Murr has been a cornerstone of our practice—caring for generations of families with warmth, compassion, and clinical excellence. His deep commitment to his patients and our community has shaped the culture of our practice and earned the trust of so many.

A Letter from Dr. Edwin Murr
Dear Valued Patients,
After many fulfilling years of serving the Arlington community, I am writing to share the bittersweet news that I will be retiring from my practice at Arlington Vision Source. This decision did not come easily, as caring for you and your families has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
Throughout my years as your eye care provider, I have been honored to watch families grow, help patients achieve better vision, and build lasting relationships with so many of you. Your trust and support have meant the world to me, and I will always cherish the memories and connections we have shared.
As I step into this new chapter of my life, I am pleased to let you know that you will be in excellent hands. Dr. Isaac Schunk, who has been a valued part of our practice since 2018, and Dr. Shivani Patel will continue to provide the high-quality, compassionate care that you deserve. I have the utmost confidence in their abilities and their commitment to our patients, and I know they will carry on the tradition of excellence at Arlington Vision Source.
While I will certainly miss seeing you in the office, I look forward to spending more time with my family and embracing the opportunities that retirement brings. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives and for the trust you have placed in me over the years.
